The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in its entirety the Law on the legal status and medical support of servicemen who are foreigners and stateless persons. This document provides for the issuance of temporary residence permits to foreign servicemen for the entire duration of their contract and after its termination. Details
The explanatory note to draft law No. 14052 states that foreign servicemen often encounter cases where a temporary residence permit is required to confirm their legal residence status in Ukraine or to receive social and administrative services.
In this regard, the authors of the draft law draw attention to the importance of issuing temporary residence permits to foreign servicemen for the entire duration of their contract and after its termination. The law also extends certain social guarantees to them, particularly in the field of medical care.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a document on contracts with clear terms and expanding service opportunities for foreigners. This document also strengthens military training in higher education and creates the Research and Development Center of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
