Fast-food giant McDonald's has announced its intention to buy back all of its Israeli restaurants following an international boycott provoked by the war between Israel and Hamas.
On Thursday, the company announced an agreement with franchisee Alonyal to buy 225 restaurants across the country, employing about 5,000 people. The agreement provides for the preservation of operations and staff "on equivalent terms". However, the exact terms of the deal remain confidential.
