The night attack of the russian federation on Ukraine affected the energy sector, there are blackouts in six regions, no schedules are expected, due to bad weather part of the residents of Sumy region are without electricity, reported the Ministry of Energy and NPC "Ukrenergo" on Monday, writes UNN.
Enemy attacks
"Russia carried out another massive missile and drone attack, including on civilian energy infrastructure facilities," noted Ukrenergo.
Last night, the enemy carried out a massive combined attack on the territory of Ukraine. As a result of shelling of energy facilities, part of consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions are temporarily left without electricity
Energy workers are working to return electricity to the homes of Ukrainians as soon as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock, the ministry stated.
Bad weather
Due to bad weather, 58 settlements in Sumy region remain without electricity

Active energy consumption today, as noted, should be shifted to daytime - from 10:00 to 16:00.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption shows a downward trend. Today, July 6, as of 09:30, it was 13.8% lower than at the same time on the previous working day – Friday, July 3. The reason is a significant drop in air temperature in all regions of Ukraine, which reduces the need to use air conditioners. Yesterday, July 5, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 8.7% lower than the maximum of the previous Sunday – June 28. The reason for the changes is the subsiding heat.
