He took the step 18 months after a Los Angeles County judge dismissed most of the 2022 lawsuits in which Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, claimed that Wood fabricated public accusations that he sexually and physically assaulted her during their relationship and encouraged other women to falsify the charges.
After four years of struggle in which he was able to tell the truth, Brian is happy to dismiss his prose and appeal, which are still pending, to close the door to this chapter of his life
Manson appealed the judge's decision, but his lawyers approached Wood for a settlement this spring. Wood's lawyers said she declined a request to preserve the confidentiality of the terms.
Manson agreed to pay Wood about в 327,000 as a lawyer's fee.
The deal was the result of a nearly four-year criminal investigation into Manson, 55, involving several women, which has not yet been completed. Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, who is leaving, said in October that his office's Sexual Crimes Division had just discovered new evidence and that a decision on the charges will be made when the picture becomes more complete.
