Large-scale fires have been recorded at the oil and gas terminal "Tamanneftegaz" in the Russian port of Taman. The causes and damage have not been officially confirmed.

In the Russian port of Taman in the Krasnodar Krai, large-scale fire outbreaks were recorded on the territory of an oil and gas terminal. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" citing satellite imagery data, writes UNN.

According to the monitoring group, numerous fires broke out in the area of the port "Volna", where a large oil and gas terminal is located near Cape Zhelty Rog.

It is noted that the "Tamanneftegaz" terminal is managed by the OTEKO group and is the largest private oil-loading complex in southern Russia. Its throughput capacity is about 19.9 million tons per year, and the total volume of the tank farm reaches 640 thousand cubic meters.

The causes of the fire and information about possible damage to the facility have not been officially confirmed.
