The power system is still recovering from the latest series of hostile attacks. The situation is most difficult in Kharkiv. There are no restrictions in Kryvyi Rih, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa today, but electricity in these regions should be consumed sparingly. This was stated on Thursday by Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, CEO of NPC Ukrenergo, on Suspilne. Studio", reports UNN.
We see new attacks on energy facilities of various sizes. Last night was no exception, when in the southern region the enemy tried to attack some facilities and Ukrenergo's trunk power grids with kamikaze drones. Currently, there are certain restrictions in the electricity supply in Kharkiv.
He noted that Kharkiv is still recovering from a massive Russian strike on March 22, when the enemy tried to destroy the city's entire power system. In other regions, according to Kudrytskyi, Ukrenergo's dispatch center has not imposed any restrictions so far.
He reminded that in recent days there have been problems with power supply in Odesa, Khmelnytsky and Kryvyi Rih.
"Today there are no restrictions there. We need to consume electricity there sparingly in order to minimize the risks as much as possible," Kudrytskyi urged.
As for Kharkiv, the head of NPC Ukrenergo said that all the necessary equipment to restore electricity is available, and it is now a matter of time for repair work.
