Ukraine imposed sanctions against 19 Georgian parliamentarians for 10 years. Among them is Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. UNN writes with reference to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Sanctioned:
- Kobakhidze Irakli is the Prime Minister of Georgia and the leader of the ruling Georgian Dream party. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Kobakhidze Giorgi is a Georgian pro-Russian politician and former speaker of the Georgian parliament. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Bidzina Ivanishvili is a former Prime Minister of Georgia and Russian oligarch, better known as Boris Ivanishvili. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Grigol Liluashvili is the head of the Georgian Security Service. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Kaladze Kakhaber is the mayor of Tbilisi and a former football player. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Mikhail Chinchaladze is the head of a clan of judges in the Georgian judicial system, who was sanctioned by the United States for corruption. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Mdinaradze Mamuka - Member of Parliament and Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Gomelauri Vakhtang is the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Otar Partskhaladze is a former Georgian Prosecutor General suspected of spying for Russia. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Rukhadze Irakli is the owner of a pro-government channel and business partner of the head of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Bidzina Ivanishvili. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Murusidze Levan is a sanctioned judge from the “clan of judges” and member of the High Council of Justice. The sanctions are valid for 10 years
- Viktor Dzhaparidze - Member of Parliament from the Georgian Dream party
- Dimitri Samkharadze - Member of Parliament from the Georgian Dream party
- Heindrava Giorgi is a former minister.
- Zviad Shalamberidze is a state attorney.
- Tadumadze Shalva - The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Tsulukiani Thea - Member of the political council of the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia since 2021. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Irakli Karseladze is the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
- Bekauri Kakha is the head of the Communications Commission in the Human Rights Committee of the Georgian Parliament. The sanctions are valid for 10 years.
