For the government, the goal should be to encourage Russia to sit down at the negotiating table
It is indicated that this issue was also discussed at the E5 meeting last Wednesday in Berlin, when German Chancellor Friedrich Merz confirmed the intention to send a "strong signal of support for Ukraine" during the summit in Ankara in the form of "powerful funding".
Reminder
The leaders of Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy and Poland during the E5 format meeting in Berlin confirmed their readiness to continue supporting Ukraine and to act as a united front at the NATO summit in Ankara.
