Men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad no longer need to physically present a military registration document to obtain a passport of a citizen of Ukraine or a passport for traveling abroad. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko and the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
The government has approved changes to the Procedure for the implementation of the experimental project for automatic verification and verification of information about conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists, which, in particular, relate to the rules for issuing passport documents
It is noted that now men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad do not need to physically present a military registration document to obtain a passport of a citizen of Ukraine or a passport for traveling abroad.
Employees of foreign subdivisions of the State Enterprise "Document" will check the status of military registration in the register. If the data is missing, it will be entered automatically. Accordingly, men will be registered with the formation of a military registration document in electronic form.
And importantly: without passing a medical examination. After that, the Ukrainian will receive the ordered document within the specified time frame
Klymenko also emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is working to minimize bureaucracy and simplify the process of providing public services.

According to her, this decision simplifies the registration of men abroad. They will be able to obtain passports and other documents while abroad. They will not have to visit the TCC and undergo a military medical examination. The "Reserve+" application is also not required.
At the beginning of this year, during a meeting with the Ukrainian community in Warsaw, Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised to solve the problem with passports for our people abroad. Since then, a number of interdepartmental meetings have been held. Teams from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the DMS and other relevant departments have jointly developed and agreed on regulatory changes
According to her, the vast majority of passports have already been issued to those who applied before April 24, 2024. We are talking about tens of thousands of people. Those who applied later or are applying now will be issued passports more easily and quickly.
