In some western regions of Ukraine, the heat has been replaced by rain, local authorities and social media report on Monday, writes UNN.

"There is a severe thunderstorm in Lviv. I ask everyone to be careful. Do not take shelter under trees, billboards, or power lines. If possible, wait out the storm in a safe place," wrote Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi on social media.

Social media reports a "hurricane" and fallen trees, including on trolleybus lines.

Also, the network reported rain in the Volyn region, in the Lutsk district.
