On the Tauride direction, the total losses of Russian troops for the second day in a row amounted to about 700 people, said on Friday the commander of the operational and strategic grouping of troops "Tavria", Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky, writes UNN.

According to the commander, total enemy losses in the Tavriya sector reached 675 people. 22 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 2 tanks, 8 armored personnel carriers, 3 artillery systems, 1 air defense system, 1 UAV, 7 vehicles. Another 37 units of enemy equipment were damaged.

"Our defenders are steadfastly holding the line in the Avdiivka sector. (...) At the same time, an offensive operation is underway in the Melitopol sector," he said.

At the same time, according to Tarnavsky, the occupiers carried out 16 air strikes, 43 combat engagements and 762 artillery shellings.
