In the operational area of the Southern Defense Forces, as indicated, daily counter-battery fighting continues.
"The enemy does not abandon its intentions to drive our units from their positions. He made 4 assaults in the Orikhiv sector, including 2 in the area of Mala Tokmachka and 2 in the area of Staromayorske. The defense forces continue to carry out comprehensive measures to hold and strengthen their positions," the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram.
The occupiers, as noted, do not stop aerial reconnaissance, put pressure with artillery shelling, resumed the practice of air strikes, and use a large number of attack drones of various types.
The southern defense forces are reportedly "continuing to inflict fire damage on enemy locations, firing positions and rear areas.
According to the Southern Defense Forces, during the day they received confirmation that the enemy had fewer troops in the Orikhiv and Kherson directions:
- 125 occupants;
- 37 units of weapons and military equipment, including:
- 12 artillery systems;
- 19 units of armored vehicles;
- 6 units of special equipment.
"There are no ships of the enemy's underfleet in the Black and Azov Seas. The missile carriers have been brought to their basing points," the Southern Defense Forces said.
