In the Kherson region, over 207 km of anti-drone protection has been installed on strategically important routes. Work to enhance road safety continues in other areas of the region, particularly in frontline communities and the regional center. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, according to UNN.

According to her, the work has been focused on the most challenging directions and the most vulnerable sections between the region's communities, as well as on routes within Kherson itself. On other sections, protection is continuing to be installed.
The projects are funded from the state and regional budgets.
Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized that protected routes directly affect the resilience of frontline territories and the Defense Forces. This is important for supplying units, evacuating the wounded, and moving civilians in areas where Russians systematically attack people with FPV drones and other UAVs.
This problem is particularly acute in the Kherson region. According to the Prime Minister, Russian terror against civilians there has taken the form of a "safari," devoid of any morality.
In total, in the frontline regions since the beginning of 2026, over 887 km of anti-drone protection has been installed. In addition, in May and June, more than 198 km of roads were restored in areas close to the front line.
"Every protected kilometer of road is saved lives, safe supply of units, and evacuation of the wounded," Yulia Svyrydenko noted.
