In Russia, initiatives to restore Soviet practices, which involve ideological control over children and youth, are becoming more frequent. In particular, it is about the return of organizations such as "Octobrists", "Pioneers" and "Komsomol". This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation, UNN reports.
Details
In the Russian Federation, ideas about restoring totalitarian Soviet practices aimed at establishing complete ideological control over children and youth are becoming more frequent.
One of the State Duma deputies spoke in favor of reviving the organizations "Octobrists", "Pioneers" and "Komsomol". In the USSR, this model allowed the regime to form loyalty to the authorities in citizens from an early age and to consolidate the necessary political and ideological attitudes. And today, under the guise of "nostalgia" or "traditions", Russian society is trying to impose the idea of the "normality" of total state control over children.
At the same time, according to preliminary data, the system of forming citizens "convenient" for the Kremlin from children already exists, and in terms of its scope, it is not inferior to Soviet scales.
Structures such as "Dvіzhenіya Pervykh" and "Yunarmia" cover children of different ages and combine ideological processing with elements of militarization. They form a single network of influence - from kindergarten to university.
