Authorities in Romania have issued an RO-Alert for the northern part of Tulcea County, informing the population of the possibility of objects falling after the country's Defense Ministry identified drones approaching Romanian territory
The air raid alert in the region was sounded at 01:00 and ended at 01:43 am.
It is noted that during this time there were no calls about the fall of drones or their fragments to emergency numbers.
In recent months, the Romanian army has discovered several fragments of drones in Tulcea.
In particular, on August 20, it was reported that the Romanian Ministry of Defense found material evidence of a possible downing of a drone near the village of Periprava on the border with Ukraine. The ministry condemned Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and continues to search for drone fragments.
