Ukraine's acting Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha attended the farewell ceremony for Polish volunteer Marek Rusek-Volsky.

A farewell ceremony was held in Kyiv for Polish volunteer Marek Rusek-Wolski, who was killed in Kharkiv as a result of a Russian attack. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha attended the ceremony, UNN journalist reports from the scene.

In Kyiv, at St. Alexander’s Church, a farewell ceremony was held for Polish volunteer Marek Rusek-Wolski, who was killed in Kharkiv as a result of a Russian drone attack. 

Representatives of the Ukrainian authorities attended the farewell ceremony, including Ukraine’s acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha. 

Additionally

Marek Rusek-Wolski was the administrator of the well-known volunteer community Razem dla Ukrainy ("Together for Ukraine"). The Pole regularly traveled to Ukraine from the early stages of the full-scale invasion (since 2023). He independently organized fundraisers, purchased and delivered food, medicines, and animal feed to frontline settlements in the Kharkiv region.

Recently, the volunteer also helped evacuate the wounded and transport the bodies of deceased civilians. As Naszwybir.pl reported, Marek described the brutality of the occupiers on social media and expressed helplessness over Russian attacks on civilians.
