From April 1, the permitted speed limit has been increased on certain sections of roads in Kyiv and Dnipro, UNN reports with reference to the Kyiv City State Administration.

Kyiv

From April 1 to November 1, 2025, the permitted speed limit on certain road sections has been increased to 80 km/h.

This decision was made in accordance with the decision of the Kyiv City Council.

List of road sections in Kyiv:

🔹 Naberezhne Highway (from Poshtova Square to Nadnipryanske Highway);

🔹 R. Shukhevych Avenue (from Northern Bridge to Honore de Balzac Street);

🔹 Stepan Bandera Avenue (from Yordanska Street to Northern Bridge);

🔹 Naberezhno-Rybalska Street (in the direction from Elektrykiv Street to Havanskyi Bridge).

Important: on other sections of the capital, the permitted speed remains 50 km/h.

Dnipro

According to the decision of the executive committee of the Dnipro City Council, in the period from April 1 to November 1, 2025, the permitted speed limit on certain sections has been increased to 70 km/h.

List of sections in Dnipro:

🔸 Naberezhna Zavodska Street, except:

▪️ 200 m on both sides of the intersection with Academician Pavlov Street;

▪️ from the exit from the slag dump to the turn to the Kaidatskyi Bridge;

▪️ 50 m on both sides of unregulated pedestrian crossings in the area of intersections with Fatima Gafurova Street and Metrobudivska Street;

🔸 Naberezhna Peremohy Street (from Yaruzhna Street to Kosmichna Street);

🔸 Zaporizke Highway (from Shynna Street to Airportivska Street);

🔸 Donetsk Highway (from the intersection with Berezynska Street to the city limits);

🔸 Sonyachna Naberezhna Street (from the intersection with Liubarskyi Street to the Ust-Samarskyi Bridge, except for sections 50 m to unregulated pedestrian crossings);

🔸 Central Bridge;

🔸 Ust-Samarskyi Bridge;

🔸 Kaidatskyi Bridge.

In places where the speed limit has changed, the automatic recording cameras are set to the current permitted speed.

Responsibility for speeding, according to Art. 122 of the Code of Administrative Offenses:

🔸 Exceeding the speed limit by more than 20 km/h — UAH 340;

🔸 Exceeding by more than 50 km/h — UAH 1700.
