Russian special services have begun to detain local residents of the Kursk region who publish footage of fighting in the region. This is reported by the Moscow Times, UNN reports.

According to Russian Telegram channels, on Friday, the Federal Security Service (FSB) detained a 48-year-old resident of the village of Zhovtneve who was filming the aftermath of Ukrainian strikes.
Russian law enforcement officials stated that the video, filmed by a local resident, was published on one of the Ukrainian telegram channels. During interrogation, the detainee stated that he was allegedly acting on a mission, and that he was promised money and "citizenship of a NATO country" for completing it.
It is noted that the FSB is currently considering opening a criminal case under the article "espionage," which provides for punishment up to life imprisonment.
