Russian troops launched an airstrike on one of the educational institutions in Kherson yesterday around noon.
Initially, it was known that 5 people were injured - 3 women and 2 men.
As a result of the impact, the building suffered significant destruction. People were trapped under the rubble and a fire broke out.
The shockwave and debris damaged 6 apartment buildings and 5 private residential houses.
At the scene, rescuers pulled a man from under the rubble and handed him over to medics.
During the liquidation of the consequences of the strike, the Russians repeatedly attempted to attack the rescuers with UAVs. As a result, a fire broke out nearby in a private 2-story residential building. Despite the constant threat of repeated attacks, the emergency workers extinguished all fire sources.
