In the village of Kamyanka, Kharkiv region, a 50-year-old man stepped on an explosive device in his garden. As a result of the explosion, he was injured with an amputated foot and went to the hospital on his own, the regional State Emergency Service reported on Friday, UNN reported.

"On August 2, in the village of Kamyanka, Izyum district, a 50-year-old local resident stepped on an unknown explosive device while tending to his garden. As a result of the explosion, he sustained a mine-blast injury in the form of amputation of his foot," the State Emergency Service reported on social media.

The man, as noted, went to the hospital on his own, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
