Trump was asked to comment on a report in The Atlantic that Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of the publication, inadvertently participated in a Signal group chat discussing the US attack on the Houthis in Yemen. National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes shared with ABC News a statement he provided to The Atlantic confirming the veracity of the chat.
"I don't know anything about it. I'm not a big fan of The Atlantic," Trump said.
After the exchange of views, Trump told the reporter: "I don't know anything about it. You're telling me about it for the first time."
