Hundreds of Ukrainian men blocked the work of the passport service in Warsaw amid the suspension of consular services abroad. The deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade, Maksym Zhorin, criticized the participants of the "blockade," UNN reports.

Details

According to Telegram channels, 300 Ukrainian men blocked the work of the passport service in Warsaw. It is noted that the police arrived at the scene, but did not take any action. The men agreed with the employees of the service that they would start letting citizens in only to submit documents.

At the same time, the deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, reacted to this "action" by noting that "such cohesion and the pressure of 'our powerful foreign front' would be useful - if not on the real front, then at least during the Ukrainophobic blockade on the border.

"Seriously, people who have decided to forget about their responsibilities in the state cannot demand that it respect their rights. It's very convenient to f*** off (run away - ed.) in the most difficult time for Ukraine, and then whine about how Ukraine doesn't provide some services. There is no need to demand "justice" if you do not follow this rule yourself. When one category of Ukrainians has been fighting for the future for absolutely everyone for two years, while the other "lives their own life," this is also not very fair," wrote Zhorin.

Recall

Men liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 will not be able to obtain passports at a separate unit or diplomatic mission of Ukraine. Passports will be issued only on the territory of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new applications for consular services from Ukrainian men aged 18-60 abroad, due to the new law on military service and mobilization, which will come into force on May 18, 2024.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Intelligence plans to summon representatives of the Foreign Ministry to explain the order to suspend consular services for Ukrainian men abroad.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba commented on the suspension of consular services for men abroad, calling it unacceptable that they "sit in restaurants" while "the guys in the trenches are very tired.
