German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has arrived in Kyiv for the first time in two and a half years, reports the Tagesschau agency, according to UNN.

It is reported that today Scholz will meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He arrived in the capital of Ukraine early in the morning by night train and said upon arrival:
"For over 1000 days, Ukraine has heroically defended itself against the ruthless Russian aggression".
After his arrival, he announced further arms deliveries to Ukraine worth 650 million euros.
With his visit, the Federal Chancellor wants to express his solidarity and make it clear that Germany will remain "the strongest supporter of Ukraine in Europe", writes Tagesschau.
It is noted that this is already the second trip of Chancellor Olaf Scholz to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian war. Previously, Scholz was in Kyiv in June 2022.
