Kamala Harris spoke to a crowd in Milwaukee as delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago expressed their support for her presidential campaign.
Kamala Harris has reportedly officially accepted the Democratic Party's 2024 presidential nomination after a roll call vote on Tuesday.
She spoke to them via a live link after the ceremonial vote, in which delegates from every state and US territory symbolically cast their votes for her.
"We are honored to be your candidates," Harris said.
"I thank everyone here and there for believing in what we can do together," she said.
"Together we will chart a new path forward," Harris emphasized.
