The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed an arrest as a measure of restraint on the former head of the Economic Court of Lviv Region. He is suspected of bribery. This was reported by the press service of the SAPO, UNN reports.

The HACC noted that the court partially granted the petition of the NABU detective and imposed a preventive measure of detention for 60 days on the former judge from Lviv region. The suspect was taken into custody in the courtroom.
Also, he was granted bail in the amount of UAH 12 million.
As previously reported, the pre-trial investigation conducted by the NABU detectives established that the said persons promised to ensure the adoption of the necessary decisions in court cases pending in one of the commercial courts of appeal in exchange for the said funds. The NABU and the SAPO documented the transfer of a part of the unlawful benefit in the amount of USD 75 thousand. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing,
