HACC canceled the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet for Oleksiy Chernyshov

The court decided not to extend the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet for former Vice Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov. At the same time, his other obligations were extended, including surrendering his foreign passport.

The High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the motion of the SAPO prosecutor regarding the extension of procedural obligations for former Vice Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov. The court decided to release the former Vice Prime Minister from the electronic bracelet. This is reported by UNN with reference to the broadcast of the HACC session.

Details

The HACC considered the motion of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to extend the obligations imposed on Chernyshov. Based on the results of the review, the court partially granted this motion. Investigating Judge Viktor Nogachevsky ruled not to extend the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet, so the bracelet should be removed from the former Vice Prime Minister in the near future.

At the same time, the court also extended the following obligations for the former official:

  • to report changes in place of residence and work;
    • to appear before the detective, prosecutor, court;
      • to refrain from communicating with Mindich, Tsukerman and a number of other persons;
        • to surrender his foreign passport.

          Reminder

          NABU and SAPO documented how members of a criminal organization transferred funds to the former Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov. In total, the transfer of 1.2 million US dollars and almost 100 thousand euros in cash was recorded.

          Later, the former Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov, was notified of suspicion of illegal enrichment.

          The High Anti-Corruption Court applied a preventive measure to the former Vice Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity, Oleksiy Chernyshov, in the form of detention for two months with the possibility of bail in the case of corruption in the energy sector.
