The possibility of Russian shelling remains as long as the missile carriers are in the Black Sea. This threat today is measured by fifty Kalibr missiles that are already loaded and ready to be used on the missile carriers that are there. This was stated by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine Natalia Gumenyuk on the air of Apostrophe TV, reports UNN.

"The probability remains all the while the missile carriers are in the Black Sea. Even if they are deployed to their basing points, and not on combat duty, not in deployed combat order and not at launch sites, they pose a threat. This threat today is measured by fifty Kalibr missiles that are already loaded and ready to be used on the missile carriers that are there," said Humeniuk.

She reminded that the total number of Russian missile launchers is 9, including surface and submarines.

"Over the past month, the enemy has twice put missile carriers on alert before massive drone attacks. Each time, it was submarines that they deployed, which indicates that they fear attacks by Ukrainian naval drones and UAVs. Obviously, it is easier to protect a submarine from this type of threat," adds Humeniuk.

Recall

Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Russia had been accumulating and reducing the use of Kalibr missiles all this time because of the decision to renew the fleet's stockpile.
