In 2023, about 120 companies, government agencies and NGOs from 34 countries sent 496 cargoes of humanitarian aid to Ukraine for the energy sector. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
Under the the coordination of the Ministry of Energy during 2023, Ukraine received 496 cargoes of humanitarian aid for the energy sector with a total weight of 5,938 tons. The donors of aid in 2023 were about 120 companies, governmental institutions and NGOs from 34 countries,
Among the equipment received The equipment received includes generators, transformers and autotransformers, surge arresters, circuit breakers of various capacities, special equipment etc. Some of the equipment received (more than 5.2 thousand tons), according to the agency, has already been distributed among 104 companies in the fuel and energy sector.
The largest amount of aid was received by energy companies in Mykolaiv (657 tons), Donetsk (494 tons), and Kherson (454 tons) regions, as well as equipment from partners. was also transferred for the needs of energy companies in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions.
According to the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Galushchenko, preparations for the heating season during the war was a real challenge for the energy sector, but the repairs were carried out, in particular, due to energy equipment from partners.
