On Thursday, 93 combat engagements took place in the Ukrainian frontline. In particular, Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 attacks by the invaders in the Avdiivka sector alone. This was reported in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Within the last day, 93 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 4 missile and 50 air strikes, fired 45 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

In the Kupyansk sector, our troops repelled 9 attacks in the areas of Berestove in Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.
In the Liman sector, the Defense Forces repelled the enemy 16 times. The Russians tried to break through the defense near Druzhelyubivka in Kharkiv region, as well as Makiivka, Serebrianka forestry in Luhansk region, and near Terniy and Zarichne in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, the invaders also attacked 16 times. The enemy tried to improve the tactical situation near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, Verkhnekamianske, Novyi, Spirne, Ivanivka and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 23 attacks. The occupants tried to force our units out of their positions in the areas of Ocheretyne, Uman, Nevelske, Keramik, Berdychiv and Netaylove.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Vodiane in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops 14 times.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russians, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders once near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson sector, the invaders have not abandoned their intention to force our units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River and have launched three more unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops near Krynky, Kherson region.

Over the course of the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted two strikes on Russian command centers and eight on the positions of the Russian army. In addition, our pilots destroyed three enemy air defense systems.
