The number of combat engagements along the entire front line has increased to over 90. In the Toretsk sector , the number of enemy attacks increased to 12, in the Orikhiv sector there is an escalation, UNN reports with reference to the General Staff's report as of 16:00.
"Since the beginning of the day, the enemy continues to increase the pace of offensive actions in Donetsk region. The number of combat engagements along the entire frontline has increased to over 90. Ukrainian defenders are confidently holding back the onslaught of the Russian occupation forces and inflicting significant losses on the enemy," the report says.
According to the General Staff, the border settlements of Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to suffer from cynical artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation. The areas of Dmytrivka, Taratutino, Miropilske, Hirsk, Novovasylivka, Stara Huta, and Chuykivka were hit by cannon artillery and MLRS fire. In addition, the occupants are conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities.
At the same time, Kharkiv region is under constant bombardment. Today, from the direction of Belgorod (Russia) and Shebekino (Russia), terrorists launched air strikes with anti-aircraft gunships on the areas of Liptsy, Mali Prokhody, Neskuchne, and Slobozhanske.
At the same time, six enemy attacks were repelled near Vovchansk and Liptsy.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed the defensive lines of our units in the vicinity of Stelmakhivka twice. He used aviation to support them, launching drones near Borova and Pishchane. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line. One firefight is currently underway.
In the Liman sector, the invading army carried out 19 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Nevske, Makiivka, Hrekivka, Terny and in the Serebryansky forest. Ten engagements ended without success for the enemy, and nine more are ongoing.
The enemy continues to look for weaknesses in our defense in the Northern sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack near Vyymka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants are conducting four assaults on the positions of our troops near Kalynivka. The fighting continues.
In the Toretsk sector, the number of enemy attacks increased to 12. The enemy, supported by aviation, is concentrating its efforts on trying to advance towards Bila Hora, Toretsk, Deliivka, Pivnichne and New York. Three combat engagements continue.
The Pokrovsk sector witnessed the largest number of confrontations. Since the beginning of the day, the occupants have already made 19 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Persha, Yasnobrodivka and Kalynove. The defense forces are holding back the attack and repelled 13 attacks, six firefights are still ongoing.
In the Kurakhove sector, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka.
In the Vremivsk sector, two enemy attacks near Vodiane and Urozhayne were repelled. Occupants used anti-aircraft guns and unguided missiles in the areas of Vremivka and Staromayorske.
There was one unsuccessful attack in the Huliaipil sector, in the vicinity of Charivne.
The situation in the Orikhivsk sector escalated. Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks in the areas of Novoandriivka and Robotyne since the beginning of the day. Seven enemy attacks in the areas of Novodanilivka, Shcherbaky and Robotyne are ongoing. The enemy also used aviation in the area of Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy also unsuccessfully attacked our defenders twice near Krynky. The areas of Kozatske, Tyahynka, Burgunka and Shlyakhove were hit by the UAVs.
