Yesterday morning, the French Navy boarded another oil tanker under international sanctions: the "Tagor," which had sailed from Russia. Our determination is unwavering and absolute

- Macron wrote, sharing a video.

According to him, this operation was carried out in the Atlantic Ocean, on the high seas, with the support of several partners, including the United Kingdom, "and in strict compliance with maritime law."

"It is unacceptable for ships to bypass international sanctions, violate maritime law, and finance the war that Russia has been waging against Ukraine for over four years," Macron emphasized.

He pointed out that "these vessels, which disregard even the most basic rules of maritime navigation, also pose a threat to the environment and the safety of everyone."
