The Romanian Defense Ministry has found material evidence of a possible drone crash near the village of Periprava on the border with Ukraine. The ministry condemned Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and continues to search for drone fragments.

Specialists of the Romanian Ministry of Defense examined the area near the village of Periprava in Tulcea County, near the border with Ukraine, which is the likely area of the drone's crash, and seized material evidence, UNN reports with reference to the Romanian Ministry of Defense.

"The investigative team seized material evidence from the scene for examination in accordance with legal procedures. The scene is located in a swampy area, outside of settlements, without damage to infrastructure elements," the agency said.

The Romanian Ministry of National Defense noted that it has been informing allied structures about the situation caused by the attacks in real time and remains in constant contact with them.

"We also reiterate our strong condemnation of the attacks carried out by the Russian Federation on certain targets and elements of Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, which are unjustified and in serious breach of international law," the statement said.

In addition, the ministry emphasized that the Defense Ministry's forces continue to search for possible fragments of drones that fell on the Romanian side of the Danube in late July as a result of Russian attacks on some civilian targets and port infrastructure in Ukraine.
