In the quarterfinal return match of the 2023/2024 Champions League, Andriy Lunin's Spanish Real Madrid met Manchester City of England away.
The Ukrainian footballer played the full match and became a real hero for the Madrid team. The main and extra time of the game ended in a 1-1 draw, and in the penalty shootout Lunin saved two shots at once, bringing the visitors a 4-3 victory.

The first match between the rivals, at the Santiago Bernabeu, ended with a score of 3:3.
In the semifinals, the Ukrainian team will compete with German side Bayern Munich. The match in Munich will take place on April 30 and in Madrid on May 7.
