Strong fog is expected in Kyiv: visibility 200-500 meters

In Kyiv, within the next hour and until the end of December 9, fog with visibility of 200-500 m is expected, reports the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, writes UNN.

Due to low visibility, experts recommend that drivers follow these tips when driving in fog:

• reduce driving speed;

• if you have fog lights, turn them on together with the low beam;

• maintain a safe distance from other vehicles;

• when stopping, turn on the emergency light signal;

• avoid sudden maneuvers on the road.

Also, pedestrians are asked to follow safety rules. In particular, they are urged to be attentive and wear reflective elements - reflectors, to be visible to drivers in fog and at night.
