Videos of fires in various districts of the Russian capital and its outskirts are being published online. The footage shows smoke and fires, particularly in the Kapotnya district, where an oil refinery is located.
Reports on EW operation
The Telegram channel Exilenova+ claims that due to the operation of Russian electronic warfare (EW) systems, drones are changing their routes and may fall on residential areas.
Eyewitnesses continue to post videos of strikes and fires in various locations. According to them, parts of Moscow and the Moscow region have been blanketed in thick black smoke.
In turn, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that 33 drones were allegedly shot down on their approach to the Russian capital during the nighttime attack.
According to him, damage was recorded on the territory of the "Sadovod" shopping center. At the same time, the mayor claims there were no casualties as a result of the attack. Sobyanin did not provide information regarding fires at other facilities or possible hits on infrastructure.
