The Armed Forces report that they have imposed a temporary restriction on the maritime area in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland. The restriction was lifted at 9:00 a.m., as the Armed Forces reported later in the morning

Later, the Armed Forces clarified to the YLE television channel that, due to the development of the situation, the airspace was also restricted simultaneously. According to the Armed Forces, it was a precautionary measure aimed at ensuring the safety of the civilian population and conditions for the activities of authorities to repel possible drone attacks.

The restriction of the maritime zone is related to drone attacks carried out by Ukraine on Russia
