EU Permanent Representatives have today approved the extension of the so-called autonomous trade measures (trade visa-free regime) for Ukraine for the next year. This was reported by UNN with reference to a statement by the Belgian EU Presidency.

EU ambassadors agree on a new compromise on enhanced trade measures (ATM) for Ukraine, ensuring a balanced approach between supporting Ukraine and protecting EU agricultural markets
It is noted that this compromise will be presented to the European Parliament.

Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak said on his page in X that Ukraine will lose more than 300 million euros in profit due to the "compromise".
There is an agreement between the member states the extension of trade measures will be extended for one year. The starting point is the second half of 2021, so Ukraine will lose approximately €331 million in revenue compared to 2023
