Electricity consumption in Ukraine has increased amid the continuation of cold weather, the need for economical consumption remains, it is worth not using powerful equipment from 8:00 to 21:00, reported in NEC "Ukrenergo" on Thursday, writes UNN.

"Electricity consumption has increased. Today, April 10, as of 9:30, its level was 4.9% higher than at the same time the previous day - on Wednesday. The reason is the continuation of cold weather, as well as high cloud cover in most of Ukraine, which causes low efficiency of household solar power plants," the report says.
Yesterday, April 9, the daily consumption maximum, as indicated, was in the evening - at the same level as the previous day's maximum.
Now the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover from Russian massive missile and drone attacks. Emergency recovery works at energy facilities are ongoing.
"Today it is very important to consume electricity sparingly. Please do not use powerful electrical appliances in the period from 8:00 to 21:00," Ukrenergo said, noting that the situation in the energy system may change.
