Electricity consumption in Ukraine remains high, with a significant power deficit in the power system during peak hours, and the need for economical consumption remains, NPC Ukrenergo reported on Friday, UNN reports.
Consumption
"Consumption remains at a high level. Today, November 15, as of 9:30 a.m., it was 1.6% lower than at the same time on the previous day - Thursday, November 14," the report said.
As indicated, the Ukrainian power system continues to recover from nine massive Russian attacks.
"During the hours of maximum consumption in the morning and evening, there is a significant power deficit in the power system. Please use electricity sparingly throughout the day. Do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time from 7:00 to 22:00," the company emphasized.
Import
It will be supplied throughout the day from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova. The total volume is 2,422 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 288 MW in some hours.
"We urge businesses to import electricity more actively for their own needs to avoid forced capacity constraints," the NPC said.
