"Residents of Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions planned to illegally enter Moldova by breaking through engineering barriers in a car. Border guards of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi detachment spotted their Volkswagen on the approach to the border strip," the post reads.
According to available data, the driver did not respond to the lawful demand to stop, but instead pressed the gas pedal and tried to evade pursuit. Later, the men abandoned the car in the forest and attempted to flee on foot.
"During the detention, they resisted and inflicted bodily injuries on a border guard. The violators were brought to administrative responsibility and notified of suspicion," the post states.
