During the inspection, law enforcement officers found signs of illicit enrichment in a police officer who, while holding a senior position in one of the district police departments in the Dnipro region, acquired assets worth at least more than UAH 14 million over two years. According to the investigation, from 2021 to 2022, the suspect served as the deputy head of one of the district police departments in Dnipro region.
During this time, he illegally enriched himself and acquired assets that exceeded his legitimate income by more than UAH 14 million.
The official subsequently failed to include information about the acquired assets in the declaration of a person authorized to perform state functions.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being decided.
