Kyiv law enforcement officers are conducting investigative actions in criminal proceedings initiated over the illegal demolition of the Zelensky estate. This was reported by the Kyiv police, according to UNN.
Currently, police officers are conducting searches of the building's owners and the construction company that was directly involved in the dismantling of the building,

The police reminded that the report of the demolition of the house, which is located within the Historic Area of the city, was received by the police on Friday, July 19. The attackers, without any relevant permits, used heavy construction equipment to demolish the building, which was seized by the court.
It is noted that the police and the prosecutor's office have applied to the court three times to seize the land and the building at the specified address. However, at the request of the homeowners' lawyers, the court canceled it. The last time, on January 18 and February 19, the police and the prosecutor's office initiated a new seizure of the land plot and the building, with a ban on any actions.
Criminal proceedings are being conducted under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - on the fact of intentional illegal destruction of cultural heritage sites (Part 2 of Article 298 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine); unauthorized construction (Part 3 of Article 197-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and on the fact of illegal actions in relation to seized property (Part 1 of Article 388 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that the city will sue the developer for the unauthorized demolition of the Zelensky estate. The authorities will demand to rebuild the estate and investigate all those involved in its destruction.
