"Today in battle on an F-16, unfortunately, Captain Pavlo Ivanov died. The guy was 26 years old. My condolences to the family, to all of Pavlo's brothers. Military reports were needed regarding this combat situation. We are выясняємо all the circumstances", - wrote Zelenskyy in Telegram.
He emphasized that Ukrainian F-16s, Mirages, MiGs and all combat aircraft heroically perform military tasks, protecting our state and supporting ground operations.
"The Air Force is also involved in protecting Ukraine from Russian missiles and drones. We are proud of our soldiers. We will respond strongly and accurately," Zelenskyy added.
