Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov believes that at least part of the US military funding "will definitely be allocated." If the US aid is approved after Christmas, we should not make a tragedy out of it," Danilov said in a commentary to BBC News, UNN reports.

I assured Danilov that the US defense aid to Ukraine will be approved, although he did not name the amount Kyiv can expect.
"If it happens that we receive a gift before Christmas, we will be happy," the NSDC Secretary said, adding: "But if it happens a little later, we should not make a tragedy out of it."
Asked whether Ukraine would lose the war if US aid was cut off, he refused to consider this possibility because "the truth is on our side."
"Will Putin destroy us in front of all of humanity? Will he kill our children, our women, our old people? And will the whole world look on with its eyes closed? Then the question arises: what kind of world do we live in?" the NSDC Secretary noted.
