As part of its initiative, the Czech Republic has found more than 1 million artillery shells in third countries that can be purchased for Ukraine. This was reported by DenikN with reference to the words of Czech President Petr Pavel , UNN reported.
So far, we have identified about 800,000 pieces of 155-caliber artillery ammunition for Ukraine, which was true some time ago. Now it is over a million.

President Petro Poroshenko made this statement to journalists on the sidelines of the Three Seas Summit in Vilnius.
The Czech President also noted that similar initiatives to find ammunition for Ukraine are already being developed in Estonia and the United Kingdom.
Our initiative is not the only one; Estonia and the United Kingdom are developing a similar one, and France has also talked about it.
According to Pavel, Ukraine needs a large amount of ammunition as it expects a Russian offensive to begin in the summer months. It is not important for Ukraine where the ammunition will come from and who will provide it, the Czech president added. He also emphasized that Ukraine urgently needs any air defense system capable of defending large cities.
