The Congo national football team must isolate for 21 days or risk losing the opportunity to enter the US for the World Cup, as its home country battles an Ebola outbreak, Andrew Giuliani, executive director of the White House World Cup working group, told ESPN on Friday, UNN reports.

Giuliani said the US has informed FIFA, the Congo national team, and the Congolese government that the team must maintain a "bubble" in Belgium, where they are currently training and scheduled to play two warm-up matches.
"We have made it clear to Congo that they must maintain the integrity of their 'bubble' for 21 days before they can arrive in Houston on June 11," he said. "We have also made it clear to the Congolese government that they need to maintain this 'bubble,' or they risk not being able to travel to the United States. We cannot be any clearer."
Giuliani said the US takes health and safety during the World Cup extremely seriously.
"We want to make sure that nothing crosses our borders or even comes close to them," he said.
