In 2024, a Christmas table will cost Ukrainians about UAH 1,365. This is 41% more than last year. The rise in price is largely the result of problems associated with Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing hostilities. This is reported by UNN with reference to the National Research Center “Institute of Agrarian Economics”.
According to estimates, a Christmas menu of dishes that are traditional for an average family's table: kutia and uzvar, fried fish, vinaigrette, dumplings, stewed cabbage, lean borscht with beans, fried potatoes, fresh and salted vegetables will cost about UAH 1365 per average family
