Chinese troops arrived in Belarus for joint "anti-terrorist exercises" from July 8 to 19, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said on Saturday, UNN reports.

"Soldiers of the People's Liberation Army of China have arrived in the Republic of Belarus. The servicemen will take part in a joint anti-terrorist training exercise (drill), which will take place from July 8 to 19," the Ministry of Defense said in a telegram.
The "joint training" is intended to facilitate "the exchange of experience," "to harmonize Belarusian and Chinese units," and "to create a foundation for the further development of Belarusian-Chinese relations in the field of joint military training.
