New fakes and manipulations spread by hostile propaganda around the events in the Kursk region have been identified in the russian information space.
The CPC recorded the following waves of disinformation publications.
- "Ukrainian Nazis": Throughout the day, russians continued to spread fakes to support the propaganda narrative of "Nazi Ukraine". In particular, a photo with a swastika ring on the hand of an alleged Ukrainian soldier was circulated. There was also a video of another “atrocity” by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which two Ukrainian soldiers allegedly tore flags from the grave of a "wagnerian".
- "Western journalists are lying". Western journalists' reports from the Kursk region, which describe the humane treatment of civilians by the Ukrainian military, have become a challenge for russian propagandists. russians, who have forgotten about the existence of free journalism, clumsily tried to deny everything and say that foreign reporters are working under pressure from special services.
- "Ukrainians in russian military uniforms": ru-propagandists claim that Ukrainian soldiers are entering settlements in the kursk region wearing russian uniforms and planning provocations "under a false flag".
