The department noted that the first samples of the platform have been operating on the front lines since 2024, and the robot itself has been modernized in accordance with the current needs of the front.
Vepr can evacuate two wounded people at once, carry about 350 kg of cargo, and has an operational range of up to 40 km
The robotic complex is also equipped with cameras and several types of communication, allowing it to be used in various combat conditions.
The Ministry of Defense added that Vepr can perform not only medical evacuation but also deliver ammunition and military equipment, participate in demining territories, or be used as a kamikaze strike robot.
According to the department, every month ground robotic complexes perform up to 10,000 missions on the front lines, helping to save the lives of Ukrainian military personnel.
